New SD card image for RPi 3

#506

we're in the process of moving to RPi 4, but it turned out to be more complicated than expected. Thanks for the work of @Milan, we are getting closer to having an SD card image we can share.
Until then, I created a new SD card image for RPi 3 that has the most recent updates, and it might be the last one for RPi 3. Also, I removed the TeamViewer host software because it stopped working with the latest TeamViewer client, and @Alfredo Dal´Ava Júnior reported it may have a security issue. I installed AnyDesk instead. I updated the desktop scripts, so the config file shouldn't randomly reset anymore.
You can find the link to the latest version here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/hsqlgsr3a7fpvfw/RMS_image_20191103.zip?dl=1
Before I replace the link in the docs with this one, I would appreciate if someone can independently test this new image and let me know if it works.
Cheers,
#507

Hi Denis

I downloaded it, burned an SD card, put it in a 3B+ and then ran it through basic operations. Everything I tried worked. Its running on the bench overnight.

Hi Denis!
FirstRun script silently closes at the Internet connection test. Another 'issue' is AnyDesk - it have the same ID at all RMS images, recommendation is to 'Delete the service.conf on one of these systems and restart AnyDesk to get a new ID.' It is located at ./etc/anydesk/

Image is working but not tested it yet under the starry sky ((

thank you for pointing this out. Please don't think I forgot about this, I've just been trying to find a free evening to fix this and make a new image.
Also, I need to install libav-tools so the timelapse script will work.

Hello Denis,

I flashed a SD card with the new image.

The last two nights I only recorded clouds.

I didn't experience any (other ;-)) problems.

This is great news Denis!
Everyone: also keep in mind that once we work out the issues with Gentoo RMS, it will
run fine on Pi 3, 3B+ and 4. We are making progress on this, but it will take a bit more
time. If anyone wants to help with testing and debugging, please contact me.
